Plastic Mold (Mould) production process
1. 3d Design/Samples for quotation: According to 3D drawing or samples for quotation.
2. Negotiations: Including the price of moulds, moulds sizes, material for cores & cavities, weight of product, product color, payment, moulds lifetime, delivery, etc.
3. Purchasing Order : After the customer confirming the mould design and quotation.
4. Making mold(moulds): Confirm drawing, start to do DFM, mold flows and mold detail agreed with the customer, start producion.
5. Production schedule: Every week we will feedback to the customer about the mold progress(picture).
6. Sample shoot: We provide the moulds test samples for confirmation(about 10-15 piece), we will start mass
Project Procedure
1:Purchasing Order- When we receive order and will get the order in our production system.
2:Pre-design meeting- We will assign a project engineer to follow your project and have the pre-design meeting together with other department.
3:DFM / Moldflow- The project engineer will offer DFM and Moldflow if necessary to customer for checking and approval.
4:2D / 3D- The project engineer will send the mold 2D and 3D layout to customer for approval.
5:Ordering steel- Once get mold drawing approval and deposit payment we will order steel.
6:Machining- The project engineer will provide the timing schedule for reference and every Monday we will send the progress and live machining pictures.
7:Tool assembly-Fitting tool
8: Mould Trial- We will send the sample report, injection parameter to customer.
9: Part Inspection- We will send dimension inspection report and SGS Lab certificate for simple physical test.
10: Tool Correction-Improve the tool according to customer’s feedback.
11: Tool Checking and Packing- We will check the mold item one by one based on our checking list.
12: Tool delivery- We will offer the mold package details and photos, all drawing and components will be inside together with the mold delivery.
13: After-sales Services- We will follow with customer the mold running process when the mold in customer’s shop.
